These services are available for the small land owner who has no time or machinery for the maintenance of their property and harvesting of hay.

Hay Contracting Small Squares:

A New Holland 65 Small square Baler and tractor for the baling of hay ranging from 100 to 5-600 hundred bales per contract. If a smaller quantity of baling is sought, please call and we will discuss the situation and your location to see if we can help you.

Mowing is not a particular service we offer for clients but if you have a small lot and need it done straight away our Deutze drum mower does cut clean in tall grass or crop. It will however need to be spread if the weather is not hot as the drum mower leaves the swath in loose windrows.

Raking can only be done with a wheel rake as Collins farms doesn’t have tedder rakes you will at present need to source this particular service else where.

Bale pick up can be arranged for a fee or you may use the New Holland ground driven Bale loader unit if you have a small truck or farm trailer with side rails to attach it.

Boom spray 6 metres

Boom spraying by a 300 litre 3 point linkage and a foldable boom on a Small Kabota tractor suitable for small paddocks or house blocks.

Slashing In Goulbourn Valley

Small paddocks and house blocks are serviced in the region as a float can be used for the machine which is a 180 b Kabota tractor with high movability in tight areas. Paddocks up to 10 acres can also be slashed in a day. All dangerous and hidden items are required to be cleared in the slashing area to avoid damage to the slasher.

Rotary Hoe

Lawn preparations or garden bed hoeing is available in the region with tight areas undertaken. Lawn seed can be sown with of a strong healthy lush lawn established in just a couple of months and at a very low cost compared to turf laying expenses. This performed on the understanding that a soil test and adequate fertilisers and conditioners are used for strong plant growth and thick tillering. See our soil testing services section.

Rubbish Removal

Yard clean ups and site rubbish removals are catered on an urgency basis for auctions, clearing sales house vacancies and new home hand overs.

Shed and Fence Removals

Sheds up to 3.5 meters high and any length can be removed in two days with all materials carted away. If a slab needs to also be removed then extra time will need to be allocated, the time requires shall depend entirely on the access for heavy machinery to suitably clear the foundations and cart away rubble.

Fence removals are based on an hourly rate with cost of disposal added by volume
